These are, in my own opinion, some great groups to listen to. If you're not to keen on this kind of music, then...uhh, well, we have different tastes. :/ Simple. Some of these groups DO have English songs, and if not, translations are easily availabe. Google is your friend. Also, I included what country they are from.

The Wonder Girls - South Korea
I had to start with these ladies because I love their music so much! They, like just about everyone, have slow and fast songs. The slow songs are sweet and romantic, and the fast ones are fun and great to dance to. In fact, the dance for one song, "Tell Me", was a Korean dance sensation. Another song I like by them is "I Wanna".

S.H.E. - Taiwan
Even though they are technically "C-pop", or "Chinese-pop", they are from Taiwan. Three wonderful girls with lovely voices. My personal favorite songs are "I Love Trouble (我爱烦恼)" and "Miss Universe (宇宙小姐)".

SuG - Japan
This isn't a girl group! A visual kei band, so watching PVs is an awesome treat. And that last sentance can be treated as a pun for this "Heavy Positive Rock" band, for, despite being rock, their dress and look is very colorful, mush like candy, unlike bands like Dir En Grey. I really like "Vi-Vi-Vi", "LOVE SCREAM PARTY", and "Toon Daily Lateshow".

Big Bang - South Korea
For those like me who do enjoy rap from time to time. An awesome Korean rap group who is also awesome in English. My favorite songs are "Geojitmal" and "Always", the second both the English and Korean versions.

Waldo's People - Finland
A techno group from Finland that I recently found. I personally really enjoy it. My favorite song is "Lose Control". Since I'm new to them, I don't know much. XD

Anyone else with any suggestions? More will be added when I think of them. Smile

Slot- Russia.
Russian metal. Hot lead singer. Fantastic instruments, and even though I only understand some of the words, nothing beats playing Painkiller with this music playing fill-blast in the background. Orgasm for ears.

Broken Social Scene- Canada.
Freaky, not in a bad or 'scary' way, just strange. Unique. This music has no genre. Just search them on youtube and have a listen. I especially like 'Almost Crimes'.

Finnish:

Nightwish

Everything before their last album is nothing short of the literal definition of epic. A mix between opera and power metal that sounds incredible and casts a mental euphoric, cloudy feel. their last album is more rock than anything else, but just as good, if not better.

Tarot

What Nightwish would sound like with a male lead singer.
